If you think aerial drones completely dictate modern combat, you're missing half the picture. The Reality of Robot Logistics
Let's talk about what these machines actually do. Moving supplies across a modern combat zone is basically a death sentence for human drivers. Artillery covers every open field. Thermal scopes spot ordinary trucks instantly.
Enter small tracked units like the Murakha. It looks like an industrial cart on tank tracks, standing roughly a meter high. It hums along quietly on electric motors, which makes it far harder for enemy thermal optics to detect than a roaring combustion engine.
Operators load them up with hundreds of kilograms of ammunition, water, and food. They trudge through craters and ruined streets at speeds up to 12 kilometers per hour. When a trench needs resupplying under fire, you send the robot.

Traditional defense contractors move slowly. They build expensive, over-engineered hardware that takes a decade to clear bureaucratic hurdles.
Ukraine's approach is entirely different. Small, agile workshops churn out modular units based on direct requests from platoon commanders. If a unit needs a wider chassis or a heavier payload mount, the change happens on the next batch.
This rapid iteration model is altering how military planners view procurement everywhere. Massive, heavy armored vehicles aren't disappearing, but their vulnerability to cheap drones means infantry needs distributed, unmanned support to survive.
